Refunds and Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all services supplied by Morfeo Technologies OÜ and forms part of our Terms of Service. We sell professional services, not physical goods, so there is nothing to return. What follows is what you get back, and when.

1. Cancelling before work starts

Cancel in writing before we begin work and you receive a full refund of everything paid, with no fee. We aim to return the money within five business days and in all cases within 14 days, to the original payment method.

2. Cancelling after work has started

• Fixed-price engagements. You pay for the work performed up to the date we receive your cancellation, calculated at the day rate quoted in the proposal, and we refund the balance of anything you have already paid. We provide a written breakdown of the time claimed.
• Day-rate work. Stop at any time. You pay for days already worked and for any day already committed within the next five business days. Nothing further is owed.
• Monthly retainers. Cancel with 14 days written notice. The current month is not refunded, because the capacity has been reserved, and you keep the full allocation of days for that month. No later month is invoiced.

3. If the work is not what was agreed

If a deliverable does not materially match the written proposal, tell us within 30 days of handover with enough detail for us to reproduce the problem. We will correct it at our own cost and within a reasonable time. If we cannot bring it into conformity after a fair opportunity to do so, you may cancel the affected part of the engagement and receive a refund of the fees for that part.

4. What is not refundable

• Work already performed and accepted, or delivered and not disputed within the 30 day window.
• Third-party costs we paid on your behalf with your prior approval, such as cloud usage, licences or domain fees.
• Time lost to delays on your side, such as access or decisions we were waiting on.

5. Consumer right of withdrawal

We contract with businesses. If you are nonetheless a consumer resident in the European Union, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of it being formed, without giving a reason. If you asked us to start during that period, you pay a proportionate amount for what was performed before you withdrew, and the right ends once the service has been fully performed. To withdraw, send a clear statement to morfeou@proton.me.

6. How to request a refund

Email morfeou@proton.me with the invoice number and what you are asking for. We acknowledge within one business day and give a decision within five business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Card refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank; we do not control that timing.

7. Before you open a chargeback

Please contact us first. Almost every dispute is a misunderstanding about scope and is faster to fix directly than through a bank. If you have already opened a chargeback we will still respond to you, and we will supply the proposal, the delivery record and the correspondence to the card scheme.
